Calling my shot

I have been asked several times to predict what will happen in tonight's game 7 and the honest answer is, "With pitching this bad who knows?" When I saw yesterday that Larussa was pitching Carpenter I thought, "The Cardinals had better win tonight." I think they knew and were afraid of a game 7, which tends to tip the edge in favor of the Mets. Having said that, to pitch a mediocre pitcher on three days rest? Maybe the Mets are trying to throw this game, so they don't get destroyed by the Tigers. Is this really the best the National League has to offer? Yuck…Mets in 11.
