Failing and Not Knowing

For some reason or other this Advent, I have really missed being in school. I miss the grades, I miss the classes and I miss the closure. I miss the clear way you know when you have completed something, and also the way you can tell you have progressed or moved to the next level. It seems like most of life doesn't work this way. With most of my life I just keep plugging along, and I just don't really know. We do what we think is faithful for as long as we can, and we hope that's right. Even written into our theology, we know that we never get right, or get it right for long. Sometimes I wish I had a community who could grade me and move me into the next level of my Christian life. Oh well....happy advent. Come Lord Jesus.
