It has not been a spectacular month for the Milwaukee Brewers. We had a pretty nasty road trip and we have struggled to put together more than two or three wins in a row lately. This weekend we get three against the Rangers, which we pretty much have to win at least two of these. The Rangers are exactly the type of team we have been clobbering this year and we need to continue that trend. We follow that up with a series at Detroit, and then we go to Minnesota. If we could get some momentum and win 6-8 of these games that would be huge. Even if we can just figure out a way to go .500 on this trip that would be great. Essentially though, we have to take two or three from the Rangers to have a chance for a special trip.
Two other Brewers notes:
1. I can not figure out how to find this, but I think the Brewers record with Rickie Weeks in the lineup since he came into the league is leaps and bounds better than there record without him in the lineup. We have to get this guy healthy.
2. I have stumbled across some really good Brewers blogs, in no particular order:
Brewers Fanantics
Brewcrew Ball
Breaking Down the Brewers
From the Uecker Seats
Right Field Bleachers
Enjoy them.
